$37 Million Oversight By The Hawaii State Government? Yeah Right!
Could you believe that the Hawaii state accountant made a $37 million oversight? I sure can’t. But that’s what they’re claiming.
If somebody in the state is really making mistakes like this, they should be fired. And the management above them (Gov. Lingle) should be fired too. That’s how a successful private business would handle a misstep of this proportion. Wait a minute, that’s right, Hawaii’s $36.8 million in the hole. Not very successful. I wonder why?

Too much unpunished crime and corruption on Kauai!
I agree John, and that’s a story I should write about. How was the shootout with the ice heads that happened in Haena a couple months ago? The busted the ice heads with a bunch of stolen equipment in their van. Found a big tin coffee can full of ice, and yet the criminals walked the very next day.
Kauai is soooo corrupt. What can we do to stop it? You would probably have to fire the entire County Government and definitely every officer and official in the police force.
It’s so bad the federal government did an internal investigation as to what was going on. What ever became of that? Come on feds, we need help!
Yeah, I think you should set up a local site to expose the true corruption of the police department and the government on kauai. There is a lot of stories with proof of evidence but the powers here seem to turn the cheek and also the Garden Island Times is a disgraced Newspaper ( they won’t tell the real stories.) They scared, the corrupt officials got everyone scared to speak. Look what happened to Lauren Kagawa and other victims, is this not a cover up. The proof is in the pudding, The only way to dismantle the corrupt is to organize a public checks and balances nonprofit organization. God Bless Kauai
oh the poor minions of Kauai - taken advantage of by predator politicians and unethical business men with ties to corrupt police and organized crime - making business out of all the lawsuits where Kauai govt. is a defendant. Do they put themselves in litigation for the profit? are they all lawyers? i am sick that they fight so hard against KPinkerton yet his proof is overwhelming. As a result of his story and federal case I have no faith in our justice system - prosecutors hired right out of law school pursue illegal paths pushed by the “good ole boy network” teach cops, prosecutors, attorneys, council members, commissioners to lie under oath. Aloha…. no its not aloha anylonger, its ……….
